Nursery

“At this level, our students will have a far wider world view, with a growing knowledge of language, number, reading and writing.”

Nursery Curriculum

Lead International school, as it is depicted by the name, follows the Montessori curriculum.

Montessori curriculum emphasizes learning as a process that cannot be determined by the child’s age. Instead, learning is a process that is determined by the rate and speed at which a child can acquire one skill before moving on to another skill.

Programs at a Montessori school are determined by the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed learning through authentic Montessori Method. From the beginning, our experienced teachers prepare children to be focused, independent and innovative learners, as well as responsible, respectful and mindful individuals.

Our classroom environment reflects real, relevant teaching and learning as we incorporate all the language processes (listening speaking, reading, and writing) in a meaningful context using a balanced literacy approach that values purposeful reading and writing.

We encourage children to see themselves as readers, writers, and problem solvers. Our challenging hands on learning activities attend to the different learning styles and help children further their thinking skills, develop deeper understanding, connect concepts, and improve their skills. We value the process as well as the products, and understand that all children are unique individuals.

We offer a structured curriculum where play is an essential part of children’s learning and general development.

Our child centered learning environment recognizes the students’ different learning styles and enables the development of concepts, knowledge, skills and attitudes while promoting independence and self-reliance.

Students are given opportunities, at every step, to learn and grow from developmentally appropriate activities that are challenging, stimulating and relevant.
